For ages teen and adult.
Cost: Free
Reservations required. Class size is limited. Please give notice if you are unable to attend after registering.
Classes are held the 2nd Thursday of each month.
Yes you can paint! Come and have fun, while you paint a greeting card or a small painting suitable for framing.
A hands-on program. Students will experience the painting process.
Materials will be provided for free to start.
You will learn about choosing paper, paints, and brushes for the results that you want.*
* Students are encouraged to bring their own supplies once they have learned about choosing their supplies.
Each month you will learn a new technique. These include:
Basic brushwork (wet-on-dry, wet-in-wet, graded wash, etc.). Building up a painting in washes, layer by layer. Hard and soft edges. Mixing color on the paper. Ink and watercolor.
Each month a different subject and/or technique will be introduced.
