A presentation by Gregory L. Edmonds
Gregory L. Edmonds will tell of the history of the Tuskegee Airmen's service to our country during WWII, and how they won a double victory against obstacles at home and overseas. The presentation includes a showing of the 10-minute film "Double Victory," followed by a Powerpoint telling about the shoulders upon which they stood and their legacy among youth even today.
Mr. Edmonds, a native of New Jersey, was graduated from Seton Hall University with a B.A. in History. He currently serves as President of the Ohio Memorial Chapter of the Tuskegee Airmen Inc., which covers central Ohio. This Chapter includes an association with the Youth Aviation group, Buckeye Tigers, which introduces boys and girls ages 12-18 to careers in Aerospace. He and his wife reside in Columbus.
Reservations requested but not required. Recommended for 8th Grade - Adult.
There will be a door prize drawing and test your knowledge in a history trivia game.
Refreshments will be served, including some World War 2 recipes.
