Meet Nelle. She is a living schoolroom of everything you need to know to thrive on your own homestead. Each month you will learn a different hands-on homestead experience.
In this class you will create Artisan bread dough and take it home to bake in the morning. Ah, fresh bread!!
In this first of Nelle's Workshops, you will learn about Nelle and all of the steps it took to achieve her little piece of heaven. You will find out how you, too, can learn to homestead wherever you are, whether it be in a suburban ranch, a condominium, or on a few country acres.
Nelle grew up on a small farm in Ohio and experienced various aspects of homesteading. She learned many skills from her grandparents and parents and from being involved in 4-H and FFA.
Today her husband and 5 children homestead in central Ohio, where they raise goats, chickens, and rabbits, have an orchard, garden, keep bees, and much more.
