THE PLAYS THE THING!
"As a child you did it all the time, without even thinking about it, without needing to be told how. Play was an activity we all engaged in for its own sake – because we loved it. Because it felt good. Because it brought us joy.
For me, the stage is my playground. It allows us to share experiences, to reach out and teach how we survive in this world. As older adults, we all have a story we can share. By sharing what got us thru thus far, perhaps we can help someone else get thru this thing called LIFE! Using performance techniques, we will learn how to present our stories to others.
It is my hope that my “acting students” will allow themselves to be open and share the joy of living. Let's play together!" ---Patty
