Meet Nelle. She is a living schoolroom of everything you need to know to thrive on your own homestead. Each month you will learn a different hands-on homestead experience. Workshop scheduled monthly.
Looking for new ways to provide your family with meals full of flavor from the garden?
Growing your own produce can be both exciting and satisfying. Knowing what to do with all those fresh vegetables, fruit, and herbs can be a challenge, especially if you are blessed with an abundance of something. (Pssst... Don’t leave those zucchinis on your neighbor’s doorstep!)
Nelle will share ideas for how to feed your family delicious, nutritious meals from freshly harvested, seasonal ingredients straight from your garden or local farmer’s market with tips on gardening, fresh from the garden recipes, and 2 delicious make and takes to help you use up your garden abundance.
This workshop is limited to 40 participants.
This is a paid admission class. Please pay in advance on-line or at the front desk.
Advance registration with payment required by July 20.
Fee: $10
Open to tweens, teens and adults.
